As of 2009, everyone who will be fishing in Ontario  will be required to purchase an Ontario Outdoors card.  This card will hold your fishing tag.  This cost of this card is just under $ 10.00 ,  A fishing license will still need to be purchased, or in our case if you choose the conservation license we will buy this one for you.  Don't get your license confused with the card.  These are different.  

      If you purchased your Ontario Outdoors Card in 2009 and have not received it yet, something on your temporary card form may have been filled out incorrectly.  If you are still waiting to receive this card you will need to contact the Ontario Outdoors card Center at 1 800 387 7011, you will need to be prepared to fax a copy of your Temporary if requested to do so.  You will need to allow 6 weeks in advance of returning to Ontario to fish.
