Boating In

We offer a unique method of transportation from your vehicle to the resort. There is no road access to us, so instead of flying in, we offer a boat-in system. We pick you up from your vehicle in our 26' jonboat and that's where the adventure begins...

The Portage

The first leg of the trip is seven miles (20 minutes) to Windigo Falls where we portage you and your gear with a tractor & trailer to the lower side of the falls. We then load up onto a second jonboat for another 20 minute ride to lodge.The overall trip in takes about an hour and is an introduction to some of the most beautiful scenery that the Canadian Shield has to offer.

Marchington Lake

Now you're on Marchington Lake, which is part of a river system with seven inlets and only one outlet. Marchington Lake is a long and narrow flowage, approximately 25 miles long and 9000 acres. It is very easy to learn and you don't have to worry about the wind blowing you off the lake.

From Marchington Lake, you now have access to 14 other remote lakes, none of which have road access.

We are the ONLY resort on a chain of 15 lakes.
